More framing progress

The weather has been spectacular! In fact, so much so that not only is most of the snow gone, but - unbelieveably - there are fire danger warnings out now. Six acres of woods burned a couple towns south of us. The temperature in Bridgton the other day topped 80 degrees. We'll take it, though. Enough of winter! A few updated pics below:
The house is nearly fully framed and the Tyvek wrap is going on all around it now. Note the good ol' Passat out front. The driveway held up so well over the winter that the car has no trouble getting up it...now that the snow and ice are gone. Meanwhile, my zoomy Mazda stays at home in the driveway with deer damage until the body shop frees up. Argh!

We can finally see the north side of the house! We weren't able to venture back there for months because of the deep snow. Look, we'll even have a yard...eventually. Oops. We actually don't have a budget for topsoil and grass seed. We'll add it to the 5-year plan...

Our garage floor concrete was poured this morning. One of the crew stayed behind to smooth out the floor. On Monday, the framing crew will start framing the last part of the roof over the garage. Then they'll tackle some interior partitions and start putting in the gorgeous windows!

Next subs...April 24th: fire sprinkler system starts to go in.

May 12th, our roofing crew comes in and starts putting on moisture sheild and metal roofing.

May 19th, a special "zone fracturing" crew is coming from Massachusetts to try to crack some new fractures in our nearly dry 1,260 well. Wish us luck!!

May 29th - electrician, Chris, and Basil start a marathon week to put in all the electric wiring. Plumbing and A/C crews will start around this time, too.
