Shot of the dining and living areas....looking good! The rest of the house...not so much. Kind of a work in progress. We are living on the main floor and for the first few days, while we did have a toilet working, the only sink we had in the whole house was the kitchen sink. But, we made due. The view and air and light more than make up for the "camping" aspect of living here now!
Poor Ava's got the worst of it and is sleeping on the couch because her room's not ready and there's no railing to the 2nd floor. Also most of her toys are still packed up, and she can't watch her usual shows since we don't have a TV or cable (satellite TV eventually, but we're not in much hurry as our "media area" will be downstairs and that's a mini-sawmill area right now). Despite the changes, Ava was more than up for working with Grammy Linda to make the inaugural batch of brownies in our new oven!
Our patio table made it up with no problem from Bridgton:
The below is a photo of something called a "sun dog". It's an atmospheric condition where the clouds reflect the sun and it looks kind of like a mini rainbow. It was quite neat and something most of us hadn't seen before! There was one on each side of the sun itself - this one and one to the west of the sun that I couldn't get a photo of (it was dimmer).
