Siding and some interior colors

Here is the very beginning of the siding...one of two colors and four (yes, four!) different textures. The siding is called "Hardiplank" and is a concrete composite. The color is baked in at the factory and is supposed to last 15 years, at least. Yippee! No scraping and painting for a LONG time!

Ignore the dust and dirt all over everything. I am not bothering to tidy anything up as it will just get drywall dust, sand, and rain-flung dirt all over it again!

Here are some colors and materials we are choosing for inside...natural bamboo flooring (very light colored tile here), fake slate laminated countertops for the work-area counters (those laminates look AWESOME these days!), and a paint color called "Spanish Red" which we may use on the upper countertops and as an accent color in the kitchen:
The interior walls, to start, will all be a light off-white color called "Creamy". It looks as delicious as it sounds! After we move in - and as we find time and energy - we'll paint some of the interior rooms other colors ourselves.
